A 16-year-old was taken into custody this week in connection with the fatal shooting of a teenager in a car last month in DeSoto, police said.

A 22-year-old man was arrested Friday in connection with the fatal shooting of a man he mistakenly believed to have killed his younger brother, DeSoto police say.
Norman Christopher Collier was booked into the Dallas County jail on a charge of capital murder after he shot a man in the head Sunday at a memorial ceremony for Collier’s younger brother, who was fatally shot last week in a car in DeSoto, police said. No arrests had been made by Friday in connection with Camran Collier’s death.
