Patricia Harper Miller, age 94, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021.
Born and raised in Delhi, N.Y., Pat was the daughter of the late Glen and Margaret Harper. She had a long, very active and happy life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother John Harper and her husband Richard (Dick) Miller.
She is survived by her daughters Christie Nadolski (Keith), Debbie Pollard, and Lorie Hughes (Rodney). In addition, she is survived by seven grandchildren, Megan, Bethany, Lindsey, Kate, Susan, Adam and Andrew; and six great-grandchildren. She is survived as well by two special nieces, Kathy and Pam, and their extended family. The family also wishes to recognize special caregiver Nancy Byers who assisted Pat with retaining her independence for ....

To most of us, they are anonymous numbers in a grim and ongoing count.
But each one represents one of the more than 900 Manitoba lives lost over the past year to COVID-19.
Many have gone without a published obituary marking their loss. Without family and friends able to gather to grieve at a funeral and, later, celebrate their memories.
Manitoba’s first positive case was announced March 12, followed by three more the next day. The first COVID-19 hospital admission occurred March 17, and the province declared a state of emergency on March 20.
