Footpath lighting has been improved in several areas around Orange in a bid to increase community safety.
Glenroi Oval, Edye Park, Elephant Park, Margaret Stevenson Park and the footpath from Myora Place to Algona Crescent received additional lighting.

The improvements were delivered with $471,681 in funding from Stage 2 of the Australian Government’s Safer Communities Fund, which supports councils and community organisations to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour by funding crime prevention and security initiatives. ....
