Sanctuary movement will call on Biden to free Rosa Sabido, others in sanctuary
The National Sanctuary Collective will hold a news conference Tuesday calling on the Biden administration to free about 45 people living in the country illegally who have sought sanctuary in houses of worship.

Beset by an unpleasant snowy, gray Saturday, donors still came out in full force for a record-breaking Fallen Officer Food Drive in Lower Burrell.
The food drive, in its third year, benefits the food bank at St. Margaret Mary Church in Lower Burrell. The fundraiser pays homage to two police officers who were gunned down and killed in separate events in the line of duty: New Kensington Officer Brian Shaw and Lower Burrell Officer Derek Kotecki. Their families and friends continue to raise money in their honor for scholarships, K-9 officers and community causes. ....

Unemployment fraud persists
Westwood Police continue to field numerous reports of residents receiving notice of applications for unemployment benefits being filed in their names. In all cases, the residents are working full time. In most cases, the residents Human Resources Department managed to stop the fraudulent claims. In some cases, the residents received bank debit cards, which they have since destroyed.
