A man shot by police after allegedly pointing a gun at a woman and an officer in a Southwest D.C. apartment has died, police say.
Terrance Maurice Parker, of Southeast D.C., was taken to a hospital after the shooting Friday then pronounced dead, police say.

Armed DC man dead after being shot by police officer


A man is dead after being shot by a police officer responding to a domestic dispute in Southwest D.C. on Friday night, police said.
Terrance Maurice Parker, 36 of Southeast, was identified as the armed man shot by a D.C. police officer Friday.
D.C. police said officers responded to a domestic abuse call just before 9 p.m. at an apartment in the 1100 block of 4th Street, near M Street.
While interviewing the two people at the residence, police said Parker took out a hand gun and pointed it at an adult female and one of the officers.
D.C. police said one of the officers responded by shooting Parker. ....
