When Ash Aziz sold some of his Wilmington area restaurants in 2019, he wanted to take a step back from the industry, “But, as it turns out, semi-retirement is not for me,” said Aziz, who owns Circa 1922 and Pizzeria Il Forno in Wilmington. “I don’t golf well.” Instead, he’s been thinking about bringing at least one new restaurant to the area. “We are just in the design state right now,” he said.
