A mainline valve replacement project will affect water service for two hours in West Maui on Thursday, the county Department of Water Supply announced.
Impacted areas will include 3481 Lower Honoapiilani Road (Da Rose Mall) to Honokowai Beach Park, as well as Maui Sands and Paki Maui. The southbound lane of Lower Honoapiilani Road in front of Paki Maui will be closed during the project.
Once water service is restored, residents and businesses may experience brown water and should flush their water lines by running the faucet for a little while before using it, the county said.
