Southend will take centre stage next week when a new TV series gets broadcast for the first time. An entire episode of Susan Calman’s new series, Grand Week By the Sea, will show her enjoying all that Southend has to offer. Few details of the episode have been announced so far, but a synopsis for the show suggests she’ll be spending plenty of time on the seafront.
