Lake District attractions starring role in Channel 5 programme with Susan Calman

Comedian Susan Calman will take Channel 5 viewers on a tour of the Lake District on Friday. The Scottish stand-up comic and radio panel show favourite will be exploring Cumbria in Susan Calman’s Grand Day Out from 8pm. Starting at Ullswater alongside her trusty campervan Helen, the presenter finds herself exploring everything the county has to offer, as well as delving deep into the landscapeâs heritage and culture. The national parkâs scenery plays a starring role, with Susan experiencing Ullswater from the deck of the 19th century Lady of the Lake alongside Ullswater âSteamersâ skipper Graeme Connacher. She also takes a trip on the La’al Ratty railway, in its new panoramic viewing cabin.
