Montage Laguna Beach is pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Rogers as general manager. With two decades of luxury hospitality industry experience, Rogers will oversee all day-to-day operations of the 30-acre beachfront sanctuary perched on a coastal bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Rogers joins Montage Laguna Beach from Fontainebleau Miami Beach, where she was the first female general manager since the hotel s opening in 1954 and was responsible for all operational components of the iconic resort. Rogers originally joined the Fontainebleau as vice president of operations, rooms in 2009 and was promoted to general manager in 2018.
Previously, Rogers was part of The Ritz-Carlton family, working at hotels and resorts across the U.S. and beyond, including as executive assistant manager, rooms division at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, Nev.; director, meetings and special events at The Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort in Rose Hall, Jamaica; and senior catering

Montage Laguna Beach has tapped a 20-year luxury hospitality veteran to be its next general manager, according to a press release Friday.
Mary Rogers joins Montage Laguna Beach from Fontainebleau Miami Beach, where she was the first female general manager since the hotel opened in 1954. Rogers was hired by Fontainebleau as vice president of operations for rooms in 2009 and promoted to general manager in 2018.
“I am delighted to welcome Mary Rogers to Montage Laguna Beach,” said Jason Herthel, president and chief operating officer of Montage International, said in a prepared statement. “Mary’s extensive, ground-breaking background is nothing short of impressive, and we are honored to have her dynamic leadership at the helm of the resort’s executive team.”
