Marshall County Courthouse • A pretrial conference was set for July 21 for Richard Wayne Samora who is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. • A public defender was appointed and an April 26 preliminary hearing was set for Christopher Lane Goodman who is charged with driving while barred. • A no contact order was issued against Hunter William Faircloth and a preliminary hearing was set for April 26. Faircloth is charged with domestic abuse assault. • An April 23 initial appearance is scheduled for Dalilah Choate, who is charged with failure to obey traffic control device, no valid drivers and license and failure to use headlamps. • A pretrial conference was set for April 21 in the case of failure to obey a stop sign and yield to the right of way against Sean Gabriel Shickell. ....
Court Thursday • Lindsey Marie Smith made an initial appearance on a failure to maintain control charge and a no insurance charge. Smith pleaded guilty to both charges. On the failure to maintain control charge the fine is $155 with court costs of $90 for a total of $245.25. The fine on the no insurance charge is $645 with a $96.75 surcharge and $90 in court costs for a total of $831.75. All payments are due within 30 days. • Adriana Bernice Herrera Paez made an initial appearance on a possession of methamphetamine-first offense charge, a keeping a premises or vehicle for controlled substance violation charge, two counts of a child endangerment charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge.
