New Delhi: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) conducted a talk on the subject titled a talk on ”Energy Swaraj – An Essence of Sustainability” on March 13, 2020. The session was headed by Prof Chetan Singh Solanki from the Department of Energy Science and Engg., Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay who is widely known as the Solar Man and Solar Gandhi for his endeavors to promote solar energy in India.
Mrs SanjuChoudhary, Assistant Director, Student Development Cell, AICTE, started the programme with a welcome address.
Addressing the students and faculty members at AICTE, Professor Chetan Singh Solanki talked about the vitality of embracing solar energy in the future, as it is the only unending source of energy available for humans on earth. He also pointed out the adverse effects of increased consumption of fossil fuels and created awareness among participants regarding the growing issue of climate change due to increased Carbon Diox ....

AICTE joins hands with Cyberpeace to train 5 lakh students, teachers in cybersecurity

New Delhi [India], January 13 (ANI): AICTE has joined hands with Cyberpeace to train 5 lakh students and faculty on cybersecurity and with Pupilfirst for the CoronaSafe internship programme.
The two programmes were announced on National Youth Day on Tuesday. The day marks the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
According to a press release, the cybersecurity training programme designed to educate 5 lakh students and faculty was unveiled by AICTE Chairman Anil D Sahasrabudhe.
On the occasion, AICTE Vice-Chairman MP Poonia spoke about the potential of youth and their proactive role in bringing out innovations in the country. ....
