Los Representantes Estudiantiles ante la Junta de Gobierno señalaron el domingo faltas en los candidatos recomendados a presidente Interino de la Universidad de Puerto Rico (UPR).
La Junta de Gobierno de la UPR se reunirá mañana, lunes, de manera extraordinaria para seleccionar a la persona que ocupará el cargo de presidente de la Institución tras la destitución de Jorge Haddock el pasado 8 de julio.
Hasta el momento solo dos nombres serán recomendados por el comité de búsqueda, estos son el doctor José Cordero, exrector de UPR Utuado y el doctor Brad Weiner, quien fue Decano de la Facultad de Ciencias Naturales del Recinto de Río Piedras, indicaron los representantes estudiantiles en declaraciones escritas.

New Medical Student Government executive board plans to help OUWB students reset

Helping restore a sense of normalcy to the medical school experience is top of mind for the new executive board of Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine’s Medical Student Government.
So say the four board members who are preparing for the new school year with plans that include helping students get back into the swing of normal.
The board members are second-year medical students: Ali Rida, president; Mackenzie Schmidt, vice president; Revelle Gappy, secretary; and Alex George, treasurer.

A conservative college students group has put up posters satirizing President Moon Jae-in at around 100 universities and the National Assembly building.
The poster, created by the New National Council of Student Representatives (NCSR), is written in the form of a letter of apology, but in fact satirizes the high-handed manner the Moon administration has shown on many controversial issues.
Eleven members of the Class of 2021 who have distinguished themselves for academic excellence, service and leadership at East Tennessee State University have been inducted into the 1911 Society.
Named in commemoration of the year when ETSU was founded, the 1911 Society recognizes the universityâs most notable graduates from undergraduate, graduate and professional programs. The selection committee evaluates applicants on academic achievement; sustained service; honors, awards, recognitions, publications and presentations; demonstrated leadership; work experience, such as study abroad, internships, externships and clinicals; and personal narratives.
ETSU President Brian Noland said, âFor more than a century, ETSU has carried forth a mission to improve the quality of life for the people of this region.
