Young adults and teens line up to get COVID-19 vaccines as eligibility expands in Florida Hannah Lee © Hannah Lee Regency Mall Vaccination Site On Monday, any Floridian 16 and older is now eligible to get the vaccine. 16 and 17-year-olds may get the Pfizer vaccine if they are accompanied by a guardian with a signed, completed DOH consent form. The Johnson and Johnson vaccine, along with the Moderna vaccine, is only available for anyone 18-years-old or older. 18-year-old Mateo Flores and his 40-year-old mom, Vanessa Rocha, both got the Pfizer vaccine at the Regency Mall Monday morning. Flores is a senior at Sandalwood High School, and like any other senior, he wants to enjoy the last year of school.
