Georgia Tech will celebrate 12 student-athletes, nine current and three former players, on Sunday for Senior Day. The nine current academic seniors will receive a special introduction pregame, and all 12 will be honored with a postgame ceremony.

KENNESAW, Ga. – Georgia Tech softball (14-25) was unable to make up for a sluggish start against Kennesaw State (22-19), falling 5-2 on Friday at Bailey Park. The Yellow Jackets rallied in the top of the seventh to fill the base path, but failed to capitalize on the opportunity despite the go-ahead run stepping to the plate twice.
Kennesaw State adversely got off to a quick start, knocking a leadoff homerun in the bottom of the first. The Owls added three more runs in the third by way of an RBI double and a following single that scored two to take a 4-0 lead.
