This week, Mid-Prairie head coach Danny Hershberger talked about the win. “It was a long bus trip with the distance and the weather, but we were able to come out and play well even after that. Amara Jones came out and was aggressive offensively. She’s a good shooter and we have been talking with her about getting more shots up. Maddie Nonnenmann and Phelan Hostetler continued to play well offensively. We recognized we had a height advantage inside that we wanted to use so we got the ball to them and they did a great job scoring it.”
