Interestingly, devotees while writing Ram Naam in both formats, are following the Covid-19 protocol by using masks and maintaining social distancing at the camp. ....

Patel, a resident of Madhya Pradesh had arrived in Prayagraj on January 2 to attend a ‘mundan’ ceremony at Sangam and is missing. His family members and the volunteers of Bhoole Bhatke Shivir have been looking for him since last few days. The volunteers, this time, have also shared Patel’s details on the WhatsApp group, Bharat Sewa Dal, connecting the volunteers of Bhoole Bhatke Shivir across the country and are eagerly awaiting any leads. ....

The app is particularly useful for those who cannot undertake pilgrimage amid the ongoing pandemic outbreak. The Bhagwaanji app gives a quick access to the larger reservoir of information on Hindu religion. The app will help devotees to know about dharma-karma, puja, vrat katha, bhoj (feast), gau seva. They can also book puja or bhoj online, he added. ....
Prayagraj: Launching a coordinated effort to fight the pandemic, the health department administered the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine to 425 healthcare professionals against the earlier target of 600 on Saturday at six locations in Prayagraj. “Many of the beneficiaries had been posted at the Magh Mela and hence, couldn’t come for the vaccination,” said nodal officer and deputy chief medical officer Dr Rahul Singh. Of the six vaccination centres set up in the city, the highest number of beneficiaries to be vaccinated were at Phulpur community health centre (CHC) (80), followed by Kamla Nehru Memorial Hospital (75), Duffrin Hospital (69), Soraon CHC (69), MLN Divisional Hospital (67) and MLN Medical College (65). ....
