LMPD officers find man dead with gunshot wounds behind Dixie Highway church Share Updated: 2:52 PM EST Dec 21, 2020 WLKY Digital Team Share Updated: 2:52 PM EST Dec 21, 2020 WLKY Digital Team Detectives are investigating after a man was found dead Monday behind a church in west Jefferson County.The shooting was reported after 1 p.m. in the 2200 block of Dixie Highway, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.A spokesperson for the LMPD said officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds behind Hill Street Baptist Church. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.Police have not made any arrests in the shooting.The homicide unit is investigating.Additional details were not released.Anyone with information about the case is asked to call LMPD at 502-574-5673. ....
