An icy blast has hit the province with snowfall on the Berg and temperatures plunging to a minimum of 2 degrees Celcius in Underberg and 3 degrees in Mooi River and Kokstad overnight.
The South African Weather Service s Stacy Colborne says a second cold snap is expected on Thursday. Looking ahead for the rest of the week, there s a 30% chance of showers and thundershowers mostly over the entire province on Thursday. We have another cold front coming on Thursday. Temperatures won t rise that much. On Friday, it will be pretty much clear we just have a 30% chance showers, mostly over the north coast and the adjacent interior.

THAT’S WHERE I EXPECT TO BE TOMORROW MORNING. ON THE SOUTH SHORE, MID-30’S TO THE LOW 40’S THIS MORNING. CLOSE TO THAT AGAIN. FROM HOUMA TO BELLE CHASSE, WE HAVE THE RISK FOR FROST TOMORROW MORNING.
