A long-lost letter detailing Amelia Earhart’s final voyage has been found in California. The letter, which was found by a man in San Diego, contained the last known correspondence from Earhart’s navigator Frederick Noonan prior to their disappearance. On a freezing Washington DC morning in January, US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania strode out of the White House for the very last time.
They climbed aboard a helicopter and flew to Andrews Air Force Base, where a small group of supporters and his children and their spouses gathered to hear him bid farewell.
Among his remarks about rebuilding the military, saving veterans, growing the economy and his handling of Covid-19, dubbed a medical miracle , was a final and ominous promise.

A search has been under way to find an expensive high-tech monitoring buoy and mooring which vanished from the edge of the Kāpiti Marine Reserve.
The buoy and mooring, worth about half a million dollars, was positioned in late November and has provided real-time measurements on currents and waves, salinity, oxygen and chlorophyll, water temperature, sediment, wind direction and speed.

Artist Matt Pine can t actually remember when his artwork Cone Piece was taken down.
But it s been nearly two decades since one of Whanganui s most significant public artworks was last hanging in the foyer of the Whanganui War Memorial Centre. They were taken down to supposedly clean the ceiling and the interior and they never put them back up, Pine said.
