Mario Corona IV, 20, was being held without bail at the Sandusky County Jail following the incident. According to a Fremont Police Department report, Corona IV attacked his father, Mario Corona III, following an argument about the father s suspected drug use. Corona III was transported to ProMedica Memorial Hospital where it was reported that he had been attacked by his son with a black-handled machete knife following an argument in the 800 block of East State Street. Detective Jason Kiddey wrote that upon meeting Sgt. Anthony Emrich at the hospital, he was told by the sergeant that Mario Corona III had sustained a large knife wound to his left hand. ....
