The Fabianos are the owners of Holland Peanut Store, at 46 East Eighth St. in Holland. Paul Fabiano and the fourth- and fifth-generation family members will share stories about their family’s history in a video. In addition to storytelling, individuals will be able to meet the family during a live, virtual Q&A session. “The museum is excited to present the history of the great local family-owned business, Holland Peanut Store,” Holland Museum Executive Director Ricki Levine said. “In addition to being a fun and entertaining evening, this event will help to raise funds to support education initiatives at the museum. This will allow us to continue to engage with and educate the greater Holland community.” ....

The new service is offered in partnership with Grand Health Partners, a Grand Rapids-based practice of weight-loss experts and skilled surgeons who will perform bariatric surgeries at Holland Hospital. According to the hospital, two-thirds of adults in Michigan are overweight and nearly half of those are considered obese based on current guidelines. Holland Hospital Bariatric Services offers access to the nutrition, exercise, behavioral health and surgical support someone may need to lose weight. Bariatric surgeons Drs. Randal Baker and Jeremy Bushman work with a multidisciplinary team of experts to provide proven weight-loss solutions, including minimally invasive bariatric surgery at Holland Hospital. ....
Holland Hospital opens walk-in care facility Courtesy Holland Hospital Holland Hospital’s new walk-in care is ready to serve the lakeshore region. Located at the Holland Hospital Medical Building, 8300 Westpark Way in Zeeland, walk-in care is similar to a primary care visit, but no appointment is necessary. It is open to all residents, regardless if someone already has a primary care provider or not and is covered by most insurance plans. “Walk-in care allows patients to receive prompt treatment for common illnesses and minor injuries,” said Michelle Doctor, vice president of Holland Hospital Medical Group. “It’s not only convenient care, it’s coordinated care. Follow-up communication with the patient’s primary care provider helps to ensure that others involved in that patient’s care are kept informed.” ....
