Battle Creek-based Kellogg said last week that it debuted Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies Cereal, featuring crispy brownie squares with cosmic rainbow pieces. Each bite delivers the fudgy chocolate flavor of the iconic Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies, and every nostalgia-evoking spoonful is designed to bring fans’ favorite galactic snack to breakfast for an out-of-this world experience, Kellogg said. “We are very excited to see one of our most-loved Little Debbie products, Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies, transformed into cereal by Kellogg,” said Jeff Badger, vice president of marketing at McKee Foods, which produces Little Debbie brand snacks. “The cereal delivers the flavor of Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies in a fun new way. For those not fluent in the lore of the video game âHalo,â Â Moa is a large, flightless bird-like creature with two legs, wings, scales from the neck up and a lizard-like head â similar to the extinct bird from New Zealand of the same name. The bird is native to the Halo planet called Reach and is the signature dish of a restaurant chain in that universe, so the gaming community often asks what Moa might taste like in burger form. ....
Kelloggâs introduces keto diet-friendly snack bars Courtesy Kellogg Company Kelloggâs Special K is rolling out a new snack bar that will let those on the keto diet indulge their cravings. The Battle Creek-based snack brand said it is now offering Special K Keto-Friendly Snack Bars to provide a âsacrifice-freeâ snack experience. The bars are available in two flavors: Chocolate Almond Fudge and Peanut Butter Fudge, and each bar contains 1 gram of sugar, 2 grams of net carbs and 7 grams of protein. âOur Kelloggâs Special K Keto-Friendly Snack Bars help you win however you eat, whether youâre all-in on keto, a dabbler, a first-timer or just want something delicious and convenient with 1 gram of sugar,â said Courtney Bentley, Special K brand manager. ....

The Battle Creek-based cereal maker said in response to a Change.org petition from customers 10 months ago and pleas on social media, it is bringing back SMORZ cereal. The cereal â which features chocolatey graham squares and marshmallows â is returning after a two-year hiatus. âKelloggâs SMORZ cereal has an incredibly passionate fanbase â and their efforts to bring back the cereal have paid off,â said Erin Storm, senior marketing director of Kellogg All Family Cereal. âWe couldnât be happier to bring some joy to our die-hard fans and also give first-timers the chance to indulge in the fanfare and see what SMORZ is all about.â ....

With brands taking center stage during the big game’s popular ad breaks, the snack brand of Battle Creek-based Kellogg Company looks to build on previous years with a spot that will feature the consequences that occur when people get engrossed in Pringles flavor stacking combinations. Following 2020’s Rick and Morty partnership, Pringles saw double-digit growth for the brand. “We’re really happy that Pringles will be back in the big game in 2021,” said Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing for Pringles. “We know that this coming year’s big game day experience will be different with more fans watching from home, (but) it will definitely be (a) huge TV and social media day for us to showcase the fun consumers can have creating Pringles flavor stacks.” ....
