If we treat Mother s Day as another excuse to gather at the homes of our mothers, we may not have those mothers for Mothers Day 2022. If you love your mother, Mother s Day 2021 is the mother s day where you show your love by staying away.
Deyalsingh said some who were direly ill with covid19 were finally admitting breaching covid19 precautions.
Parallel healthcare system capacity could be exceeded in 10 days

Epidemiologist Dr Avery Hinds has said if numbers of covid19 cases continue to increase at the present rate, the parallel health care system could be overwhelmed within seven-ten days.
At the Prime Minister s media briefing on Monday, Hinds said if the current rate of increase continues, the system will reach its maximum capacity by May 22. He said this is a great cause for concern and the trend needs to be reduced.
Hinds said it was also alarming that younger people in their 40s were now dying from covid19. He said the numbers were increasing in all counties.

Health ministry says no inter-island border controls as Tobago braces for Trini tourists
Tobago is getting ready to see a jump in travellers from Trinidad over the Easter holiday. At today’s Ministry of Health virtual media conference, the county medical officer of health (CMOH) for Tobago, Dr Tiffany Hoyte, said villas were predicting a 98% occupancy rate, while apartments and hotels were expecting 76% and 67% occupancy rates.
Wired868 was told there were no separate border controls, such as negative PCR test requirements or mandatory isolation, for travellers between the islands.
