Blake Shelton sells out in Cheyenne, books Denver concert Alexander Kirk Replay Video UP NEXT Country music star Blake Shelton has officially sold out his concert at Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) this July. Shelton s concert with John King on Saturday, July 31 is the second sold-out concert at the 125th annual Cheyenne Frontier Days this summer. Garth Brooks previously sold out his performance scheduled for Friday, July 23. Shelton has also re-booked a concert at Ball Arena in Denver that had originally been planned for early in 2020. The Friends and Heroes Tour will visit Denver on Friday, Aug. 20, 2021. Tickets for the concert that was scheduled on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Pepsi Center will be honored at the new date. Additional tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com. ....
Cheyenne Mayor: No Excuses for Pothole Problem Cheyenne Mayor Patrick Collins says there are no excuses for the city s pothole problem, the city simply hasn t been doing the basic maintenance required to keep its 350 miles of roads in good shape. Our Street and Alley crews are working so hard to patch the potholes, but they do not control the required maintenance of crack filling, sealing the roads, and milling and overlays, Collins said Friday in his Mayor s Minute column. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Wyoming’s population experienced the nation’s seventh-slowest rate of growth over the past decade, adding 13,225 people for a population of 576,851 as of April 1, 2020. That came in the second-slowest growth period in U.S. history. ....

While some buyers were able to get tickets, others were placed in a virtual waiting room for up to an hour without getting the opportunity to purchase tickets before they were gone. Tickets for the 125th annual Cheyenne Frontier Days went on sale at 9 a.m. Thursday. CFD opens Friday, July 23 and continues through Sunday, Aug. 1. Brooks will kick off the CFD concert lineup on July 23. ....
