Arthritis
Arthritis is common, expensive and a leading cause of disability. Over half of adults age 65 and older experience arthritis, and two out of every three obese people suffer from it as well. A person living with arthritis spends more than $2,000 annually on health-related costs and nearly half experience physical limitations (cdc.gov). ....

Homeowners reminded of March 31 deadline
MARION - Marion County Auditor Joan Kasotis is reminding homeowners that the deadline to file for Board of Revision (BOR) is 4 p.m. on March 31.
Owners who feel the combined value of their land and buildings is different from the appraised value on the auditor’s property cards may file a BOR form. Forms may be printed from the auditor’s website, co.marion.oh.us/auditor, or picked up at the auditor’s office, 222 W. Center St., Marion.
Evidence supporting value change should also be included when the form is turned in. This is to show a suggested new value of their property, according to the owner. These will be reviewed for possible adjustment or a formal hearing in the presence of the Board of Revision members. ....

Bill would create tax credit for high-blend biofuel
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Riordan McClain (R-Upper Sandusky) has introduced House Bill 165, which would create a temporary, nonrefundable tax credit on the sale of E15 and higher blended biofuels of 5 cents per gallon.
“Ohio is the 8th highest corn producing state and home to seven ethanol refineries who purchase much of our local corn yield for use in ethanol production,” said McClain. “However, if you try to purchase high-blend biofuel at the pump, Ohio ranks much lower in consumer availability due to the control of the marketplace.” ....
