PORTLAND, Ore. (KTVZ) There are seven new COVID-19 related deaths in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 2,744, the Oregon Health Authority reported Wednesday.
Oregon Health Authority reported 247 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 as of 12:01 a.m. today bringing the state total to 205,698.

Oregon reports 7 more deaths, 247 new COVID-19 cases

The Oregon Health Authority reported Wednesday that seven more people have died from COVID-19 and 247 more have tested positive for the disease.
There have now been 205,698 cases of COVID-19 reported in the state and 2,744 deaths from the disease.
OHA Director Pat Allen indicated the increase was due to travel over the Memorial Day weekend.
He said the increase showed travel and gatherings were still risky for the unvaccinated. He encouraged people to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
OHA said 2,065,711 people in the state had completed a COVID-19 vaccine series. ....
