Sullivan confident Mayo can be successful under new manager Moyles March 16, 2021 By Declan Rooney There is plenty to be excited about in Mayo Ladies football circles as the 2021 season approaches and one of the county’s longest serving players, Kathryn Sullivan, says she is determined to help her team reach the next level. A new manager in Michael Moyles, the return of some former players and the arrival of eager, fresh talent means Mayo turn towards the new season with vigour. While their 2020 championship ended at the group stages, 2019’s All-Ireland semi-final appearance suggests there is a talented group of players in the county. Add in some experienced faces like Carnacon’s Fiona McHale and some of her clubmates, and Sullivan (30) thinks the team can make significant progress. ....
Mayo launch new home jersey for 2021 season March 15, 2021 Mayo GAA have unveiled their new home jersey for the 2021 season. The new jersey, which goes on sale from May 5th, incorporates the Intersport Elvery’s brand for the 24th year and will be available exclusively through Elverys.ie until stores across Ireland re-open. The new strip will also feature the county’s new secondary sponsor, PortWest, for the first time. Speaking on the 2021 Mayo jersey reveal Patrick Rowland, CEO of Intersport Elvery s, said: “With so much uncertainty over the past year, it’s a great time to look to the future and reveal the brand-new Mayo jersey. Intersport Elvery s is deeply embedded in GAA and it is a privilege to once again present a new kit with O’Neill s which reflects on the past, but looks to the future.
