Manheim partners with Pod Point to create new EV charging centre

Manheim Vehicle Services (MVS) has invested over £100,000 in partnership with Pod Point, to install 30 electric vehicle (EV) chargers at MVS Bruntingthorpe.
The new 30-vehicle charging centre will have the capability of charging over 800 vehicles a week.
The MVS Bruntingthorpe EV Charging Centre features 30, 7kW (single phase) Twin Chargers, as well as a 50kW Velocity Charger for rapid charging.
The software integration allows for both RFID card and App-based access, while all chargers have universal socketed versions so drivers can plug in with their own cable. Custom pricing tariffs are also available for specific driver groups.
Sam Watkins, commercial director, Manheim Vehicle Services, said: “As electric vehicles become more prevalent across the UK, we have invested in onsite charging technology to align with the needs of our customers. ....

Manheim has partnered with Pod Point to add 30 electric vehicle chargers at its Bruntingthorpe site.
Manheim parent company Cox Automotive said it has invested more than £100,000 in creating the EV Charging Centre, which it said is capable of charging around 800 customer vehicles a week.
The business said adding the chargers allows charging on site for current EV customers and sales, but will also help future proof the location for further expansion.
