The number of new COVID-19 cases within the Eastern Ontario Health Unit remained in the single digits Wednesday, as nine new cases were added to the tally.

Cornwall and South Stormont each had four new cases, with one new case in South Dundas.
Not captured yet in the EOHU update were four new confirmed cases within the northern portion of Akwesasne, reported by the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Wednesday afternoon. It also reported 30 active cases – the EOHU reports 11 – and a new fatality within the community.
