The Le Bab trio’s late-night kebab shop will open as indoor dining resumes, offering an eclectic menu that plays around with the post-pub staple. The 20-cover Old Street restaurant and takeaway is next door to a more traditionally-run kebab house - The Best Kebab - and will be open until 5am. The menu will include the Pepperoni Pork Shawarma, a fusion of pork shawarma and pepperoni pizza involving soppressata, tomato pork jus, mozzarella fondue, basil and parsley. A Le Bab Dirty Vegan Kebab will also be available, made with Beyond Meat, house pickled cucumber, sweet chilli relish, crispy fries, vegan mayo, sumac, vegan fondue sauce and cress. ....
New wave kebab operator Le Bab is to open a third London restaurant next year on Old Street. Set to launch in February, the new Le Bab will take its cue from late-night kebab culture and remain open into the small hours with a 5am closing time. The 20-cover restaurant, which is taking over a former Turkish Delight kebab shop, will feature a striking interior design created by Angus Buchanan that includes a stainless-steel counter and side bar; red upholstered barstools; a stainless steel and mirror panelled wall design; and a graffitied ceiling. A pink floor to ceiling velvet curtain will reveal fluted back blue banquette seating with a marble tabletop, stainless steel surrounds and neon lights. ....
Germany s Kraft Brewery has teamed up with fellow drinks company Jim & Tonic and new wave kebab operators Le Bab to launch Kraft Dalston. The restaurant and bar will open in January and is located within Kingsland Locke, the most recent site from the aparthotel brand Locke. Set across two floors, the site will feature a ground floor bar, specialising in fresh beer as well as gin. Both will be produced at an onsite microbrewery and distillery which will be visible through the glass wall of the restaurant on the floor below. Le Bab - which runs two kebab-focused restaurants in central London - will serve slider-sized kebabs on fresh sourdough flatbreads from the restaurant. These include its pork shwarma, lamb madras adana and a paneer kebab. It will also serve a range of snacks. ....
