Muscat: Indian community in Oman celebrated India’s 72nd Republic Day by participating in the live streaming of the flag hoisting ceremony held at the Indian embassy premises in the capital. Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq sent a message of congratulations to the President of India on this occasion.
The simple ceremony at the chancery premises saw India’s ambassador to Oman Munu Manawar hoisting the flag and convey greetings to all members of the Indian community in Oman. The Ambassador also conveyed warm wishes to Oman’s government and highlighted the bilateral cooperation in the wake of COVID-19. He also read the excerpts from the address of the President of India. ....
