WACO, TX â During the shutdown and quarantines, there were still people who went to work everyday, risking exposure to themselves and their loved ones, all to make sure that health care facilities, police and fire departments, senior living facilities and food distribution centers remained open to care for the citizens of Waco.
âThings have changed so much over the past year, and there are a lot of people who are really feeling the effects of that. So it was a way to reach out and tell them âHey you are not forgotten. We know you are working hard to take care of people,â said Hospice Educator at Bluebonnet Health Services and a volunteer for Cookies for Caregivers, Autumn Outlaw. ....

Trying to find a COVID-19 vaccination in Houston? Houstonians now have a new option for receiving the vaccine with the opening of a drive-thru clinic at NRG Park.
In partnership with Memorial Hermann, the NRG park clinic will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Jan. 14 to Jan. 17.
The drive-thru vaccination clinic is available to pre-registered individuals who have scheduled appointments during the four-day event. No walk-ins will be accepted at the clinic. Approximately 13,000 Texans 65 years or older in the state s Phase 1B category are expected to be vaccinated at the location, according to Memorial Hermann. If you want to schedule an appointment, those who qualify for Phase 1B guidelines can sign up now on Memorial Hermann s website. ....
