Canelo takes on Billy Joe Saunders as he looks to become undisputed by the end of 2021.
A big crowd is expected at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas this Saturday night, as Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders meet in a Super Middleweight unification showdown.
WBC and WBA (Super) champion, Alvarez (55-1-2, KO37) needs little introduction, and will enjoy the support of a passionate pro Mexican crowd in Texas as he attempts to extend an unbeaten record stretching back well over seven years.
A professional from the age of just 15, Alvarez has established himself as the current pound-for-pound king of the sport.

Former four-division titleholder Donnie Nietes got back in action today in Dubai, scoring a decision win over Pablo Carrillo and putting himself back into the mix at 115 lbs.
Nietes (43-1-5, 23 KO) certainly had to shake some rust and didn’t look completely at his best here, and one judge did have it very close, scoring the bout 96-95 for Nietes. But the other two were wider, scoring it 98-92 and 99-91, and Bad Left Hook also had it 98-92.
The 38-yearold Nietes seemed to warm to the fight in the latter stages, looking sharp and sound still in the final four rounds, while Colombia’s Carrillo (25-8-1, 16 KO) never found quite enough success, though he did have some, landing solid shots here and there.
Carl Frampton aims to achieve world title glory in a third weight division. Paul Wheeler previews his clash with Jamel Herring
CARL FRAMPTON has had to demonstrate patience in his quest to become a three-weight world titlist. A previous title-holder at super-bantamweight (WBA/IBF) and featherweight (WBA), Frampton was expected to challenge reigning champion
Jamel Herring for the WBO super-featherweight crown last summer. However, the coronavirus pandemic rendered this unfeasible.
After plans to stage the contest in late 2020 also came to nought, a date of February 27 in London was at last finalised. Yet a hand injury suffered by Frampton during training saw the bout pushed back to this Saturday (April 3), in the new location of the UAE. The Rotunda at Caesars Palace Bluewaters Dubai will host the 34-year-old’s hat-trick attempt, with Channel 5 (UK) and ESPN+ (US) televising.
World heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua on Saturday night retained all three of his belts by thwarting the game challenge of Bulgariaâs Kubrat Pulev inside nine rounds at Londonâs Wembley Arena.
To the cheers of the 1,000 fans allowed inside the venue, and with Floyd Mayweather watching at ringside, Joshua knocked down Pulev twice in the third round and twice more in the ninth to keep an all-British unification battle with Tyson Fury well on track for 2021.
The fight, Joshuaâs 25th as a professional, began slowly, with both fighters using the opening round to test one anotherâs control of distance.
