At Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Repairs of Tan Son Nhat International Airport’s 25R/07L runway, which is three kilometres long and 46 metres wide, has finished after nearly six months, according to the Cuu Long Corporation for Investment, Development and Project Management of Infrastructure. The runway will undergo a six-day trial run, from December 15-20, before officially being put into service on December 31. The runway’s upgrade project begun in late June this year, around the same time as a similar one at the Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi. Hanoi (VNA) - The Republic of Korea (RoK) poured about 8.2 million USD into Vietnam’s education sector during the first 11 months of this year, accounting for 57 percent of the country’s total FDI in the field. One-third of the total of 112 foreign investors who contributed capital and purchased shares in educational projects this year were also from the RoK. Moscow (VNA) - Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevheniy Yenin spoke highly of the friendship and cooperation of his country and Vietnam in both bilateral and multilateral aspects while receiving a copy of the letter of credentials from Vietnamese Ambassador to Ukraine Nguyen Hong Thach on December 16.
