SRINAGAR, Dec 29: Peoples Democratic Party chief and former chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti, today made a startling revelation about “BJP’s reason” to “break alliance with the PDP” in June 2018. She said that the BJP was miffed because she didn’t accept the proposals of “not handing over the bodies of slain militants to their families for last rites” and of “a major crackdown against Jamaat-e-Islami”.
She also said that closing doors for the All Parties Delegation (APD) by the Hurriyat leaders set a bad precedent across India and her party would continue to vouch for the resolution of Kashmir issue through dialogue between India and Pakistan. ....

SRINAGAR: In a major revelation, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday said that a major reason to break the alliance with BJP was she didn’t accept the pact that entailed the bodies of slain militants won’t be handed over to their families for last rites and a major crackdown would be launched on Jamaat-e-Islami in J&K.
