With presentations in Nelson, Mapua and Motueka, the 2021 Streetfest brought lots of surprises and laughs for hundreds of people who enjoyed the open air comedy circus.
Performers have been sitting out winter and locking down but a Nelson StreetFest has finally given some their chance to get bent out of shape and all fired up. The StreetFest brought performers into the wide opens spaces of 1903 Square and Upper Trafalgar St on Saturday on the first day of a buskers’ showcase which stretched to Mapua and Motueka on Sunday. The festival, organised by Inspiration Productions Trust, gave some performers their first chance this summer to put on a show, chairperson and performer, Rob FireNix said.
