Containing Covid-19 : Health Minister Presents Global Situation
This was during a plenary sitting chaired by the House Speaker dedicated to the exchange of information relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Public Health Minister, Malachie Manaouda on April 16, 2020 presented the global situation of the coronavirus in Cameroon to members of the National Assembly, calling on improved individual responsibility in suppressing the nightmare. This was during a plenary sitting chaired by the House Speaker, Cavaye Yeguié Djibril in the presence of the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Relations with the Assemblies, Bolvine Wakata. The Public Health Minister presented different government efforts at the coordination (preventive), diagnostic and care-taking of asymptomatic and symptomatic cases of the virus. SUVA, 24 February 2021 – Today, the Government of Fiji, together with UNICEF and WHO, called for the increase in protection, promotion and support for breastfeeding during emergencies.
“The Ministry of Health and Medical Services is pledging our support as custodians of health, breastfeeding and safe infant feeding practices for more than 100,000 children under five years in Fiji. We will continue to advocate for breastfeeding and optimal feeding practices during and following disasters and emergencies,” said the Hon. Minister for Health and Medical Services, Dr. Ifereimi Waqainabete. “Even if animal milk is required, it will be procured and administered according to government processes, together with proper counselling on an individual basis for parents and caregivers.” ....

Epic Games will give
Fortnite players 1,000 V-Bucks if they ever purchased an in-game loot box, presented within the game as “loot llamas” containing randomized items, as part of a proposed class action lawsuit settlement to be approved later this week.
While
Fortnite’s massively popular battle royale mode has never contained randomized loot boxes, the game’s cooperative survival mode, “Save the World,” did at least until 2019 when Epic changed its loot box system to allow players to see the item inside prior to purchase. ....
