Six more cases have recovered since Saturday, leaving the active case number at 141 for a second consecutive day. Ten New Brunswickers are in hospital battling the virus, only seven of which are currently in the province. Two patients are currently in intensive care units. Others have started buildings but can t afford to finish them. Jack Youssef, who owns the property development company Javo Properties, said he s had to walk away from a project on Fredericton s north side indefinitely. We got the foundation in, said Youssef. HALIFAX Nova Scotia reported seven new cases of COVID-19 on Monday. All of the new cases are in the Central Zone, which includes the Halifax Regional Municipality. HALIFAX Two shooting incidents in the Halifax area on the weekend have people talking about the amount of gun violence in the city. There was no shortage of police near Mulgrave Park on Sunday night after reports of gunfire and a dark-coloured sedan speeding-away from the scene. When a 25-year-old man turned-up in hospital with a gunshot wound 20 minutes later, the matter became even more serious.
