Mary Trump: President visiting Alamo, Texas to make a stand
FacebookTwitterEmail
President Donald Trump is flying to visit Alamo, Texas, on Tuesday.
His niece, Mary Trump, believes the destination was intended to invoke the symbolism behind the 1836 battle that occurred 240 miles north in San Antonio. The small town near the U.S.-Mexico border was named after the famed mission.
On Monday, Mary Trump was interviewed by CNN s Chris Cuomo about her uncle s trip to Texas. Cuomo, after correcting himself that Trump was traveling to Alamo, not The Alamo, said the symbol is there. Do you think that s why he s going there? Cuomo asked.
