Formet, 100, of Dublin, got her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine Tuesday as Ohio s public rollout of the shot began with residents 80 and over.
Formet said she read in The Dispatch about how to get a shot and joked that she felt like a celebrity as she received her shot at Ohio State University s Schottenstein Center. I m just looking forward to feeling secure and not getting it because I ve had so many friends that have lost their mothers, Formet said. It s a sad time for a lot of people. They don t even get to see their loved ones when they re in the hospital.
