460. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship: Marty Scurll [c] vs. Hiromu Takahashi vs. KUSHIDA vs. Will Ospreay – NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12 At the time, this was basically NJPW throwing their three biggest stars in the junior heavyweight division and the champion into one huge match on their biggest show of the year. They don’t often run these kind of multi-man matches, which added to the special factor of seeing this. While this particular Wrestle Kingdom was a consistent good one, it didn’t have that standout MOTYC we’re used to. Instead, this was the best thing on the card. These guys are all really good and know each other well. That meant this moved at a ridiculous pace with some huge spots. None of those spots felt like they were just happening for the sake of it. Everything seemed to matter. The guys did a good with spots that included everyone. In the end, it was Willy the Ospreay who took home the title after 21:18. Apologies for the lack of cool moves last week, Cool Moves™ fans. I love y’all, but I wasn’t spending my vacation searching for and making GIFs of wrestling spots (the missus certainly wouldn’t have liked it). This is where I 1st started to believe I can do this for living. I was bullied as a kid & long story short it created self doubt issues Time flies. Some say I went a little crazy on Lucha Underground. That’s okay though I had fun, competed with the best in the world, got a crappy haircut, tried to light a guy on fire (sorry @penta zero miedo .jk), & won some championships along the way. ....
Ricochet Comments On Rumors About Him Leaving WWE WWE Superstar Ricochet took to Twitter to dispel rumors about him leaving WWE. Ricochet retweeted an article about his WWE departure and wrote, “This is fake.” Lately, there has been much speculation about the future of his WWE career. As noted yesterday, it was believed that Ricochet still has not signed a new contract with WWE. It’s interesting to note there was also a lot of speculation and rumors that he wasn’t going to re-sign with WWE back in September. As of late, he’s often booked on WWE Main Event. He defeated Drew Gulak on last week’s Main Event episode. It was reported on Tuesday by PWInsider, that Ricochet was among those who were at the Tropicana Field but not used on the RAW broadcast. ....
