AMMAN HH Princess Dina Mired on Monday said that everyone in Jordan has the opportunity to quit smoking, especially since the situation related to smoking has become alarming.
Inaugurating a new smoking cessation clinic in the Ministry of Health building dedicated to employees who wish to quit smoking, which coincided with World No Tobacco Day marked on May 31 annually, Princess Dina said that protecting “our” health has never been as important as it is during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. ....

AMMAN HRH Princess Dina Mired has been appointed as the honorary president of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer  (EORTC).
Princess Dina succeeds Prince Albert II of Monaco who has held the presidency since 2014 during which significant efforts have been made to advance EORTC’s mission of improving survival and quality of life for cancer patients, according to a statement from the organisation.
Since 1962, EORTC has contributed and continue to deliver therapeutic progress to cancer patients, the statement said. ....
