The awards for 2020 and 2021 included Outstanding Contribution to the Co-Curricular Program, Community Partnership Awards, the Go Green Globe Awards, Awards for Excellence, the Barbara Konarek Memorial Award and the William N. Roman Teacher of the Year Award.
Employees with 25 and 35 years of service were also recognized.

Today is arguably the largest secular holiday of the calendar year.  Now, many secular holidays could be considered.  In the United States, last Sunday’s holiday – Super Bowl – might be the biggest event of the year.  In some communities, Hallowe’en is a very popular event, as is Thanksgiving. In my observations, however, Valentine’s Day seems to be the greatest secular holiday we have.
Some would challenge that assessment. After all, most of our holidays have lost their “holy” elements.
