The Overhills Soup Kitchen was one of the feeding schemes of Ward 10 that assisted many struggling residents during the lockdown.
With three big capital projects nearing completion and resolution in sight for other challenges, it seems the general consensus that 2020 is a year to forget is not applicable to Overstrand Municipality’s Ward 10.
Cllr Fanie Krige says completing the work on the new Pringle Bay Reservoir is currently underway, and it will hopefully be fully commissioned by March this year. At a construction cost of over R10 million, this project was one of the top 10 on the current municipal capital budget. ....
