Promising Kiwi cyclist Mikayla Harvey has signed a two-year deal with one of the biggest teams in women’s cycling in Europe, Canyon-Sram.
The 22-year-old Wanaka rider, who in September won the white jersey for the top under-25 rider on the prestigious Giro Rosa tour of Italy, will start her contract with Canyon-Sram on January 1.
She finished fifth in the Giro Rosa, a nine-day event rated the biggest on the women’s world cycling scene, when riding with her former Swiss team, Équipe Paule Ka, which folded in October. ....
