There seems to be no respite for medical professionals as
patients’ family members continue to thrash them. In two separate incidents reported from
Fortis Hospital and
Manipal Hospital on Bannerghatta Road and Old Madras Road, the medical staff was allegedly abused by the patient’s kin. At Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, a doctor and a nursing staff on duty on June 11 were allegedly assaulted by the patients’ kin a woman and her son. Three people unleashed their fury on
doctors of a
private hospital in Thindlu for not allowing them into the
covid casualty ward to meet their friend, who was being treated there. The three persons attacked the duty doctor and brandished a dagger to threaten him.
The
