CINCINNATI (CINCINNATI ENQUIRER) -ArtsWave is set to announce on Monday the 27 grant recipients of its inaugural âTruth & Reconciliation: Project Grants for Black and Brown Artistsâ program, our media partners at the Cincinnati Enquirer said.
All told, ArtsWave will distribute $261,638 in grants of up to $10,000. But the goals are far more ambitious and expansive than the modest-sized amounts might suggest. ....

Hong Kong: Arts fund applications open
The Advisory Committee on Arts Development today launched the 10th round of funding exercise under the Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme.
The new Arts Technology category has been included in this round of funding exercise to support proposals that promote the convergence of arts and technology.
Applicants are encouraged to present their artistic vision and aspiration through the use of technology in a creative manner by submitting proposals that exemplify and achieve the four objectives of the scheme, namely development of arts practitioners, arts groups, art forms and the arts sector, programme or content development, audience building, and arts education. ....

The Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC) has
today announced more than $6.3 million in funding for 11 new
research studies designed to help ensure equitable health
and wellbeing outcomes for all New Zealanders during the
recovery from COVID-19 and future infectious disease
threats.
The HRC’s director of Equity, Māori and
Pacific health research, Mr Stacey Pene, says COVID-19 has
the potential to worsen inequities in health outcomes for
Māori, Pasifika and other groups such as older adults with
multiple health conditions, those living in rural dwellings,
and people with mental illness.
