While the Beavers led it most of the way, the Bluejays would make a push late. Scott City would hold off Cimarron in the end and pick up the 45-40 road win. The opening eight minutes would see the lead change five times. Cimarron led 9-8, before the Beavers scored the first six points of the second quarter to lead 14-9 with 6:17 left before the break.
