Islamabad:Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman on Monday urged the police officials to serve the masses with honesty and dedication so as to earn a good name for police department.
He said this while addressing the passing out parade of 34th Recruits Course here at Police Line Headquarters in which 134 policemen passed out.All the DIGs, SSPs, AIGs and other senior police officials have attended the event.
“The attitude of an individual cop represents the collective attitude of the force.So, it is up to you to earn good name for police department through your devotion and honesty,” he said.The IGP, observing the parade, said that this force had always hectic schedule of duties which included security, traffic control, patrolling and several other duties. ....

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman on Monday urged the police officials to serve the masses with honesty and sincerity so as to earn a good name for police department.
“The attitude of an individual cop represents the collective attitude of the force. So, it is up to you to earn good name for police department through your devotion and honesty,” he said while addressing the passing out parade of 34th Recruits Course here at Police Line Headquarters. In all, 134 policemen passed out in this course. The event was attended among others by all DIGs, SSPs, AIGs and other senior police officials. ....

ISLAMABAD, April 2, 2021: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman has appreciated the professional and gallant response of the police team who rescued two children through successful operation against the person who made them hostage at gun point in Bhara Kahu area.
According to details, Bhara Kahu police got information on March 28, 2021 that one armed person has made hostage two children at gun point after entering in their house in `Mohallah Chaudhrian’ at Dhok Jilani. He threatened to kill both children in case anyone tried to approach them. Soon after the reported incident, the SSP (Operations) Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer rushed to the scene along with his team including SP (Saddar) Hamza Humayun, ASP Asad Ali, DSP CIA Hakim Khan, SHO Bhara Kahu police station and others. ....

Rawalpindi: Funeral prayer of martyred traffic warden was offered at Police Line Headquarters here on Friday.
Police personnel presented salute to the corpse of traffic warden, said a press release issued here on Friday.
Traffic Warden Naveed Khan was targeted and martyred by miscreants while on duty at Naka Carriage Factory in Pirwadai area.
Regional Police Officer RPO Rawalpindi Imran Ahmer, City Police Officer CPO Rawalpindi Muhammad Ahsan Younas, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rai Mazhar Iqbal, SSP Operations, SSP Investigation and other senior police officers and personnel attended funeral prayer in large numbers. ....

Islamabad: Inspector General of Islamabad Police Qazi Jamil ur Rehman on Monday laid wreath at National Police Martyrs’ Monument and lauded the services of those who sacrifices their lives to protect future of the next generation.
On his arrival at Police Line Headquarters, a smartly turned out contingent of Islamabad police presented him guard of honor.DIG (Operations) Waqar Uddin Syed, DIG (Headquarters) and other senior police officials were also present on the occasion.
The IGP also offered ‘Fateha’ for the martyrs of Islamabad police and also wrote his views in visitors’ books placed there.The newly appointed chief of Islamabad police said that police in the national capital like their compatriots elsewhere in the country have added a golden chapter in the history, written with blood of their martyrs. ....
